CENECO Conducts Maintenance Activities to Ensure Uninterrupted Power Supply During Election Period

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative (CENECO) conducted maintenance activities on September 20, 2023, in preparation for the forthcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections. The activities were undertaken to ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the election period.

The CENECO technical crew inspected and retightened main feeders, determined feeder voltage and current, and checked the availability of genset. They also provided electrical inspection advice and conducted hotspot scanning of transformer and service entrance wire. The wire size of the service entrance was also determined.

 

The CENECO technical team will continue to conduct a series of maintenance works as per NEA guidelines, such as preventive and corrective activities of sub-transmission lines, substations, feeder lines, and distribution transformers. The 24-hour Emergency Response Team will continuously monitor the power situation as part of the Power task Force Elections 2023.
