FEBRUARY ELECTRICITY RATES UP BY P0.9506/kWh
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc informs its electricity consumers that the average residential rate for the billing month of February 2024 is P11.7856/kWh, an increase of P0.9506/kWh from last month’s rate of P10.8350.
The P0.0656/kWh rate hike is attributed to the increase in average Transmission Charges by 10.35% as compared to previous month due to the increase in Ancillary Service Charge from Php238.3902/kW to Php286.4237/kW or an upward adjustment of Php48.0335/kW.
Moreover, CENECO implemented the following:
1. Resumption of FIT-All with a rate of Php 0.0364/kWh as per ERC Resolution 01 Series of 2024.
2. Real Property Tax Charge of Php 0.0124 for the next twelve months or until that the full amount has been fully recovered.
