Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers connected to Murcia Feeder 2 (MuF2) that maintenance activities will be conducted on June 19 (Friday) and 20 (Saturday). This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follow:

Date: June 19, 2020 – Friday

Reasons:

• Conversion from 1-phase to 3-phase 37-spans primary line and uprating of one 15kVa to three 75kVa private distribution transformer with its accessories and service wire

Time: 8am to 4pm

Areas Affected: MuF2 portion of Brgy. Damsite, Municipality of Murcia, Purok Kapehan, Cabarles and Sumbingco, Sitio Salazar, Hda. Malan, Hda. Ditching and Phil Rice

Reasons:

• Relocation of R14 disconnecting cut-outs switch and massive replacement of pin insulators from Farmville to proper Alegria; and
• Line clearing activity

Time: 5am to 12nn

Areas Affected: MuF2 portion of Murcia proper and Brgy. Salvacion, whole barangays of Sta. Cruz and Alegria

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
