POWER INTERRUPTION SET ON MAY 30

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on May 30, Sunday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: May 30, 2021 – Sunday

Reasons:

NGCP will conduct opening and closing of circuit breaker at NGCP Compound, Brgy. Mansilingan;

Temporary de-energization and reenergization of Murcia substation;

Replacement of rotten 69kV transmission poles and relocation of 69kV transmission pole for safety;

Replacement of potential transformer for Alijis substation revenue metering and conduct of preventive maintenance of 30MVA Alijis substation; and

Line clearing covering Bacolod-Alijis 69kV transmission line and Alijis feeders.

Time: 6am to 4pm

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons.
