CENECO SET POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON AUGUST 13 & 14

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on August 13 & 14, Saturday and Sunday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follow:


Date: August 13, 2022 – Saturday

 

Reasons:
• Replacement of rotten primary poles including the relocation of primary pole/lines affecting the construction of the bridge at Bakyas, Brgy. Mansilingan;
• Opening/closing of the loop at Bangga Cory for the isolation of the area affected by the scheduled preventive maintenance; and
• Line clearing activities.

 

Time: 6am to 2pm
Areas Affected: Alijis Feeder 6 (portion only)


Victorina Heights, Rosario Heights, BM ACMA, Bakyas, JJ Gonzaga, Purity Home Owner’s Asso., CERES Motorpool, P & NB Subd., portion of Mansilingan, Brgy. Vista Alegre and BACIWA Vista Alegre Pumping Station.

Mabini St. (from Libertad to San Sebastian St., including portion of Rosario St.), Bacolod City National High School, City Heights, BAC-UP 6, Espinos Village, Victorina Heights, Puentebella Subd., Rosario Heights, BM ACMA, Bakyas, JJ Gonzaga, Purity Home Owner’s Asso., CERES Motorpool, P & NB Subd., portion of Mansilingan, Brgy. Vista Alegre and BACIWA Vista Alegre Pumping Station, from Alijis Substation to May Quiachon, Garces Subd., dead end of primary line at Taculing Elementary School, Prk. Kabulakan

Reasons:
• Replacement of rotten primary poles.


Time: 8am to 5pm
Areas Affected: Burgos Feeder 3 (portion only) Capitol Village, Bacolod City

 

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
