Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 15, Saturday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: October 15, 2022 – Saturday

Reasons:
• Pole to pole inspection;
• Correction of defective primary line pins, insulators and disconnecting fuse cut-outs;
• Installation of additional lightning arresters and grounding systems;
• Correction of primary and secondary line jumpers; and
• Tree clearing.

Time: 9am to 3pm

Areas Affected: HF4 (portion only) Brgys. Binubuhan, Ilijan, Mailum, Bacong and portion of Ma-ao (from Prk. Masagana to Brgy. Bacong Road)

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
