Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) explains to its consumers connected in Purok Kasantolan, Vista Alegre that tree clearing activity is still ongoing as of today, May 29, 2020.

Said activity is vital to restore the power in the area when yesterday, May 28, heavy rains left our secondary line hit by fallen bamboo trees.

Prk. Kasantolan is part of the area affected by the Bacolod-Silay 69kV trouble but when the power was restored, it was not lighted due to the abovementioned cause.

To resume power, CENECO has to conduct tree clearing activities in the area to keep our power lines uninterrupted.

Rest assured that CENECO technical crew is working to get your light back on, the soonest time possible.
