CENECO EXPLAINS NO DISCONNECTION OF ELECTRIC SERVICE FOR NON-PAYMENT OF ELECTRICITY BILL
CENECO would like to reiterate that it will continue to suspend its disconnection of electricity service while Negros Occidental is under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
The acceptance of electricity bills payment in our main and sub-offices including other collecting banks and ALVIO collection centers, is to accommodate interested paying consumers who are eager to pay their bills but don’t have access to online payment methods. Payment of electricity bills started today, April 13, 2020 from 8AM to 3PM.
“No face mask, no quarantine pass, no entry” and social distancing are strict reminders for member-consumer-owners (MCOs) to comply, as CENECO strictly observes precautionary measures.
Regular office operations will resume once the ECQ is lifted. The schedule of disconnection will also be announced at least one (1) week before implementation.
Furthermore, CENECO wishes to extend its appreciation to all MCOs who paid their bills voluntarily.*
