CENECO EXPLAINS UNSCHEDULED POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON NOVEMBER 20
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) explains the cause of unscheduled power interruptions experienced by Member-Consumer-Owners connected to Silay, Talisay and Panaogao Feeders last Monday, November 20, 2023.
In lieu of the bad weather caused by the Shear Line affecting portions of the Visayas Area, Power Interruption was experienced in Silay, Talisay and Panaogao Feeders yesterday, November 20, 2023. The main cause of the power interruption was a Detached Suspension Insulator supporting the 69KV Conductor along Burgos Extension. The survey locating the cause of the power interruption lasted for several hours. Despite the bad weather, CENECO technical personnel composed of engineers, dispatchers and linemen from Silay, Talisay and Bacolod promptly took the necessary steps to fix the problem.
The inconvenience caused by these unscheduled power interruptions yesterday due to bad weather are beyond the control of the cooperative.
