CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON SEPTEMBER 4 AND 5

CENECO Power Advisory: Scheduled Power Interruption, August 12, 2021

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on September 4 (Saturday) and 5 (Sunday). This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follows:

 

Date: September 4, 2021 – Saturday

 

Reasons:
• Replacement of polyethylene/polymer and broken pin insulators along Hilangban Feeder 4 (HF4) line from recloser at Hda. Clinic, Brgy. Mailum;
• Inspection and correction of primary line fuses for reliability of the feeder line 4 of Hilangban substation
Time: 9am to 2pm
Areas Affected: HF4 (portion only) from Louisiana to entire area of Brgy. Mailum, including Brgy. Ilijan, Beunos Aires Resort, Bago City


 


Date: September 5, 2021 – Sunday
Reasons:
• Conversion of 24-spans single-phase to three-phase primary line with its accessories;
• Replacement of one 30ft. pole to 35ft. pole;
• Installation of three 37.5kVa distribution transformers with its secondary metering and stringing of secondary drop
Time: 8am to 5pm

 

Areas Affected: HF3 (portion only) portion of Brgy. Alianza, from Hda. Rufina to Prk. Mahirup area, Bago City

 

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
