CENECO SET POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON JANUARY 23 & 24
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on January 23 (Saturday) and 24 (Sunday). This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follow:
Date: January 23, 2021 – Saturday
Reasons:
• Preventive Maintenance and Servicing of 10 MVA Power Transformer and repair of hot spot on 10 MV Mt. View Substation at Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City;
• Replacement of rotten poles covering Mt. View Feeders 4 and 5; and
• Line clearing activities covering Mt. View Feeders 4 and 5
Time: 4am to 2pm
Areas Affected: Mountain View Feeder 4 and 5 (MF4 & MF5)
MF4 Bata Subd. Including GoldCrest Subd., and Octagon Village (Talisay), whole of Mt. View Subd. Including Porferia Subd., Sta. Clara Phase I, Villa Valderrama Subd., Sto. Rosario, Lacson St. (from Lopue’s Mandalagan to Bangga Pepsi), Mandalagan Highway, Circumferential Road, Federal Johnson Iron Works to Marapara Heights Subd., Bacolod Golf & Country Club, Montebello Subd., The Ruins, Theresa Dev’t. Reasons:
• Replacement of Auto Circuit Recloser of Burgos Feeder 2 for Preventive Maintenance; and
• Replacement of rotten poles along Burgos Feeder 2

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
