Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on May 20, Saturday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date & Time: May 20, 2023 (Saturday)

Time: 8am to 10am

Areas Affected: HF4 (portion only) from crossing going to Brgy. Binubuhan, Louisiana, Brgy. Ma-ao, Brgy. Mailum, Brgy. Ilijan

Time: 8am to 5pm

Areas Affected: HF4 (portion only) Brgy. Mailum from proper (front of Iglesia ni Cristo Church) to Sitio Pataan

Reasons:
• Massive replacement of pin insulators;
• Correction of primary line accessories; and
• Tree clearing activities.

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
