Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on May 27, Saturday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date & Time: May 27, 2023 (Saturday); 8am to 4pm

Areas Affected: HF4 (portion only) portion of Brgy. Mailum Proper (front of Iglesia ni Cristo Church) to Sitio Pataan (EDC)

Reasons:
• Replacement of four rotten poles and 13 rotten cross-arms and its accessories;
• Conversion of primary construction from C15 to C8 to ease the tension on primary line and its accessories;
• Erection of one 40ft. pole with its accessories to correct overspanning of primary line;
• Correction of tilted/low primary assemblies (cross-arm extension/”bayoneta”); and
• Resagging of four spans 3-phase primary line.

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
