CENECO SET POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON MAY 27 - MuF1-MuF2

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on May 27, Saturday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:


Date & Time: May 27, 2023 (Saturday); 6am to 5pm


Areas Affected: MuF1 Prk.Manayaosayao, Canlaon View Subd.,Tanduay, Proper Blumintritt, Golf and Country Club, Villa Hermelinda Subd., Teres II Subd., Nestle


MuF2 Marian missionaries, Hda. Josefa II, Hda. Olive 2, Had.Jovelanos, Binitin,Candongon,Cansilayan, Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto, the whole municipalities of Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto.Brgy. Lopez Jaena to Mambucal, Had. Mala, Co Salazar,(R14): Brgy. Alegria, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, CPAC (Central Philippine Adventist College), Country Homes, Firmville, Iglau-an, Talotog, Buenavista, Salvacion, Caliban, Nature’s Spring Subd.


Reasons:
• Preventive Maintenance of 30MVA Murcia Substation and related accessories for safety and reliability;
• Tree clearing activities along the line affected by scheduled power interruption to avoid unscheduled power interruption.


Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
