NGCP SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON NOVEMBER 19

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will shut down its Bacolod-Alijis 69kV transmission line affecting CENECO’s Alijis and Murcia substations on November 19 (Saturday), from 6am to 6pm.


CENECO shall take advantage of this downtime to conduct simultaneous maintenance activities.

Details of this outage are as follows:


Date: November 19, 2022 – Saturday


Reasons:
• NGCP will conduct:
1. Reconfiguration of transformer protection and SCADA for the replacement of PCB 5Z-01CB04BCL and 5Z-01CB24BCL.


• CENECO’s Simultaneous Activities:


1. Preventive maintenance of 30MVA Alijis Substation and 10MVA Murcia Substation and related accessories for safety and reliability;
2. Replacement of three-phase primary rotten poles for safety and reliability of feeder lines; and
3. Line clearing activities.


Time: 6am to 6pm

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10 to 15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
