CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON DECEMBER 8, 9 AND 10
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on December 8 (Friday), 9 (Saturday) and 10 (Sunday). This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: December 8, 2023 – Friday
Time: 9am to 11am
Reasons:
•Mid-span erection of 1-35ft. concrete pole to facilitate tapping of 48 span 3 phase primary line, 18 span 1 phase primary line, 45 span open secondary line and 28 span underbuild secondary line.
Areas Affected: Lopez Feeder 3 (LF3) (portion only) Barangay Lantad and Barangay Balaring
Date: December 9, 2023 – Saturday
Time: 8am to 4pm
Reasons:
• Relocation of two 3-phase primary poles to the right of way;
• Mid-span erection of 3-phase primary pole to eliminate sagging of primary line;
• Installation of load break switch for isolation purposes; and
• Tree trimming.
Areas Affected: Murcia Feeder 2 (MuF2) (portion only) whole area of Municipality of Don Salvador Benedicto
Date: December 10, 2023 – Sunday
Time: 7am to 3pm
Reasons:
• Preventive Maintenance works; and
• Tree clearing activities.
Areas Affected: Burgos Feeder 2 (BF2) (portion only) Greensville 2 Subdivision
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
