CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON FEBRUARY 26

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on February 26, Saturday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:


Date: February 26, 2022 – Saturday

Reasons:
• Extension of 1-span 3-phase primary line;
• Installation of primary line accessories and assemblies;
• Installation of load break switch with its accessories and assemblies;
• Transfiguration of 3-hase line and conversion to double dead end alley arm;
• Relocation of three 37.5kVa private-owned distribution transformers with its accessories and service wires to newly-erected pole; and
• Opening and closing of disconnecting cut-out of lateral going to Megaworld Uppereast.

 

Time: 8am to 12nn

 

Areas Affected: BF2 (portion only) Upper East Megaworld Corporation and portion of Gonzaga Subd. (Bataan Road and Galo St.), Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City

 

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
