CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON FEBRUARY 29

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on February 29, Thursday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: February 29, 2024 – Thursday

Time: 8am to 4pm

Reasons:
• Mid-span erection of one 45ft concrete pole with assemblies for line extension of one-span of three-phase primary line;
• Installation of 1.5MVA private distribution transformer together with its primary metering and accessories; and
•Opening/ closing/ removal/ installation of hotline clamp.

Areas Affected: Reclamation Feeder 1 (RF1) (portion only) Portion of Reclamation area, portion of Brgy. 10, Bacolod City

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
