The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will shut down its Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV transmission line (TL), affecting CENECO’s Sum-ag and Hilangban substations, on June 2, Sunday.

CENECO shall take advantage of this downtime by implementing simultaneous maintenance works.

 
Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: June 2, 2024 – Sunday
Time: 6am to 6pm

Reasons:
• NGCP will conduct
1. Wood pole replacement along Matugnaw-La Carlota line section;
2. Resetting of Bacolod-San Enrique relay protection Bacolod substation; and
3. Preventive maintenance schedule of La Carlota Solar Power Plant per MOA request.

• CENECO’s Ride-on Activities:

1. Preventive maintenance of 30MVA Hilangban substation and 10MVA Sum-ag substation;
2. Replacement of rotten primary poles; and
3. Tree clearing activities.
