CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON MARCH 17
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on March 17, Sunday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: March 17, 2024 – Sunday
Time: 7am to 3pm
Reasons:
•Replacement of one 40ft. rotten wood pole to one 40ft. concrete pole;
•Installation of one 15kVa common distribution transformer for elevated metering together with its assembly and accessories; and
•Tree trimming activities.
Areas Affected: Sum-ag Feeder 1 (SF1) (portion only)
St. Ezekiel, Villasor Housing, Brgy. Handumanan
Date: March 17, 2024 – Sunday
Time: 7am to 4pm
Reasons:
•Correction of primary line clearance sag too low and replacement of very rotten pole at Prk. Gaway-gaway, Brgy. Pacol for safety; and
•Pole – line inspection along Pacol highway, Prk. Calubay and Prk. Gaway-gaway, Brgy. Pacol for systems reliability.
Areas Affected: Hilangban Feeder 3 (HF3) (portion only)
Prk. Kamatis, Prk. Calubay, Prk. Gaway-Gaway and Prk. Tangkong, Brgy. Pacol Bago City
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
