POWER ADVISORY
NGCP SET POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON MARCH 4 & 5
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will shut down its Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line affecting CENECO’s Sum-ag and Lag-asan substations on March 4 (Saturday) and Bacolod-Silay-Victorias 69kV line affecting CENECO’s Talisay and Silay substations on March 5 (Sunday).
CENECO shall take advantage of this downtime by implementing simultaneous maintenance works.
Details of these outages are as follows:
Date: March 4, 2023 – Saturday
Reasons:
• NGCP will conduct:
1. Replacement of wood pole along Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line; and
2. Ride-on Preventive Maintenance and correction of other defects along Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line.
Time: 6am to 6pm

1. Possible transfer of Talisay Substation from Bacolod-Silay 69kV line to Bacolod-Bata 69kV line, subject to NGCP approval.
