CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON NOVEMBER 25 AND 26
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on November 25 (Saturday) and 26 (Sunday). This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: November 25, 2023 – Saturday
Reasons:
• Manual trip of Asdes-Gonzaga Feeder (AGF) 5 to process the isolation of lateral along St. Francis, Taculing;
• Preventive maintenance work; and
• Line clearing activities.
Time: 7am to 3pm
Areas Affected: Asdes-Gonzaga Feeder 5 (AGF5) (portion only) areas/lateral along St. Francis Road, Taculing
Time: 7am to 8am
Areas Affected: AGF5 Gonzaga (Substation – Lopez-Jaena St.), Lopez-Jaena St. (Gonzaga St. – Rosario St.), Luzuriaga St. (Lopez-Jaena St.– Mabini St.), Rosario St. (Lopez-Jaena St. – Doña Juliana St.), Lizares St. (Libertad St. – before UNO-R), Libertad St. (Margarita – BAC-UP 6), City Engineer’s Compound, portion of City Heights, Taculing Road (BAC-UP 6 – Garces Subd.), Taculing Court, Sanitarium Hospital, St. Francis Subd., Purok 5, Puentebella, Sta. Lucia Village, Forest Park Village, Garces Subd., THASS II, Lizares Subd., part of City Heights
Date: November 26, 2023 – Sunday
Reasons:
• Reconductoring and preventive maintenance works along Masilingan-Felisa Road;
• Conversion of 44-span primary line from vhee-phase to three-phase; and
• Line clearing activities.

Areas Affected: Alijis Feeder 3 (AF3) (portion only) areas/lateral along Mansilingan-Felisa Road
Time: 8am to 4pm
Areas Affected: Murcia Feeder 2 (MuF2) (portion only) CPAC, Mr. Manok Plant, Unli Chix, Tres Marias Hatchery and Brgy. Alegria, Murcia
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
