CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON OCTOBER 17 (Murcia Feeders 1 and 2)

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers connected to Murcia Feeders 1 and 2 (MUF1 & MUF2) that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 17, Saturday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

 

Date: October 17, 2020 – Saturday

 

Time: 7am to 8am
4pm to 5pm

 

Reasons:

 

• Preventive Maintenance and Servicing of 30MVA Power Transformer and correction of Hot Spot;

 

Areas Affected: Murcia Feeders 1 and 2

 

MUF1 Prk. Manayaosayao, Canlaon View Subd.,Tanduay, Proper Blumentritt


MUF2 Marian Missionaries, Hda. Josefa II, Hda. Olive 2, Had.Jovelanos, Binitin, Candongon, Cansilayan, Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto, the whole municipalities of Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto.Brgy. Lopez Jaena to Mambucal, Had. Mala, Co Salazar, (R14): Brgy. Alegria, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, CPAC (Central Philippine Adventist College), Country Homes, Firmville, Iglau-an, Talotog, Buenavista, Salvacion, Caliban.

 

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
