CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON OCTOBER 8 AND 9

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 8 (Saturday) and 9 (Sunday). This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:


Date: October 8, 2022 – Saturday
Time: 6am to 9am


Reasons:
• Erection of one 45ft. concrete pole, extension of one short-span 3-phase primary line, and installation of three 100kVa private distribution transformers with its accessories and primary metering


Areas Affected: RF2 (portion only) from Reclamation Substation to San Sebastian-Araneta, Lopue’s San Sebastian, Cineplex Yusay Arcade, Imperial Appliance, BCB Bldg., Lee Yu Bldg., Moreno Bldg., NOHS, Gaisano Main, Kings Hotel, Downtown area, Lopue’s Araneta, Plaza Mart

Reasons:
• Opening/Closing of DS02CCS-5Z at Circumferential Road – C.L. Montelibano Avenue disconnecting switch South; Closing/Opening of DS07CBE-5Z at Circumferential Road – Buri Road disconnecting switch East in to load transfer of Mt. View Substation and Burgos Substation from Bacolod-Bata 69kV transmission line (TL) to Bacolod-Silay 69kV TL and back to its previous connection;


• Preventive maintenance and integrity testing of 20MVA power transformer and related accessories; and


• Replacement of rotten primary poles.
