CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON SEPTEMBER 30
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on September 30, Wednesday. This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: September 30, 2020 – Wednesday
Reasons:
• Replacement of rotten poles and line clearing along Sto. Rosario St., Sto. Rosario Subd., Brgy. Bata for safety;
• Reconductoring of 3-phase primary line along Buri Road for voltage improvement and power reliability; and
• Installation of armor rods to prevent vibration causing damage to distribution lines.
Time: 9am to 3pm
Areas Affected: MF4 (portion only) Sto. Rosario Subd. and Bata Subd., Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City
MF2 portion of Buri Road: from Doña Aurora Street to St. Helens Street, Estanzia Subd. and Camella Subd., Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
