Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 7 (Saturday) and 8 (Sunday). This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: October 7, 2023 – Saturday
Time: 7am to 3pm
Reasons:
• Installation of bayonet cross-arm for primary line;
• Installation of one 15kVa common distribution transformer for elevated metering with its assembly and accessories.
Areas Affected: MT. VIEW FEEDER 1 (MF1) portion only Kubay Carville, Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City
Date: October 8, 2023 – Sunday
Time: 7am to 3pm
Reasons:
• Reconductoring works from Police Station 6 to Caltex Gas Station; and
• Tree clearing activities.
Areas Affected: ALIJIS FEEDER 6 (AF6) AF6 Alijis Substation going to Girls Home, Corazon Aquino Drive (from Girls Home going to BCNHS including Garces Subd.), Bacolod City National High School, City Heights, BAC-UP 6, Espinos Village, Victorina Heights, Puentebella Subd., Rosario Heights, BM ACMA, Bakyas, JJ Gonzaga, Purity Home Owner’s Asso., CERES Motorpool, P & NB Subd., portion of Mansilingan, Brgy. Vista Alegre and BACIWA Vista Alegre Pumping Station, dead end of primary line at Taculing Elementary School, Prk. Kabulakan
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
