POWER ADVISORY
NGCP SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON JANUARY 28; CENECO ON JANUARY 29
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will shut down its Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line affecting CENECO’s Sum-ag and Lag-asan substations on January 28, Saturday.
CENECO shall take advantage of this downtime by implementing simultaneous maintenance works.
Further, maintenance activities will be conducted on January 29, Sunday to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions.
Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: January 28, 2023 – Saturday
Time: 6am to 6pm
Reasons:
• NGCP will conduct:
1. Replacement of wood poles;
2. Ride-on preventive maintenance and correction of other defects along Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line.
• CENECO will conduct:
1. Ride-on preventive maintenance of Sum-ag and Hilangban substations;
2. Replacement of rotten primary poles; and
3. Tree clearing activities.
