Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on July 9 (Thursday) and 11 (Saturday). This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follows:

Date: July 9, 2020 – Thursday
Reasons:

• Conversion of five spans 2-phase primary lines into 3-phase primary lines, installation of two 25kVa private distribution transformers with its accessories, and stringing of service wires; and
• Installation of three disconnecting cuts-outs at pole no. 41 for the 3-phase primary lateral east side, correction of the primary line assemblies line to load configuration mdue to transfer primary line tapping and conversion into alley arm, transferring of two open secondary lines to adjacent concrete poles due to rotten poles.

Time: 8am to 4pm

Areas Affected: AGF6 (portion only) St. Francis Street – Gonzaga Ext. St., St. Therese St. Doña Juliana Subd., Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City

Date: July 11, 2020 – Saturday
Reasons:

• Replacement of one 35ft. rotten pole, relocation of one 25kVa common distribution transformer to the new primary pole and massive replacement of rotten cross-arms at Canlandog area; and
• Tree trimming.

Time: 7am to 4pm

Areas Affected: MuF2 portion of Brgy. Sta. Rosa (Sitio Bajay, Hda. Mary, Sitio Iliman, Hda. Wawa and NFR), whole barangays of Amayco and Canlandog

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
