Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on May 22 (Friday) and 23 (Saturday). This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follow:

Date: May 22, 2020 – Friday
Reasons:

• Line maintenance and replacement of three 35ft. rotten wood poles to three 35ft. concrete poles and transfer of several transformers and accessories from old poles to the newly-erected concrete poles; and

• Tree clearing

Time: 8:30am to 2pm
Areas Affected: BF3 (portion only) Sunshine Subd. and Prk. Flora, Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City

Date: May 23, 2020 – Saturday

Reasons:

• Conversion of 37-spans of 1-phase primary line to 3-phase primary line, uprating of one 15kVa to three 75kVa private distribution transformer, and its accessories and service wires;

• Replacement of five pole top pin insulators and one disconnecting cut-out with hot spot; and

• Tree trimming

Time: 8am to 5pm
Areas Affected: SF2 (portion only) Prk. Sumbingco, Sito Salazar, Hda. Malan, Hda. Ditching, and Phil Rice

Time: 8am to 12nn
Areas Affected: MuF2 (portion only) whole Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Municipality of Murcia

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
