Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 20, Friday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: October 20, 2023 – Friday Time: 6am to 12nn
Reasons: • Conversion of 2-Span 1-Phase primary line to 3-Phase; • Extension of 3-Span 3-Phase primary line; • Erection of 2-35ft. concrete pole; and • Installation of 3-167kVa private owned distribution transformer together with its primary metering and stringing of its XLPE (Cross-linked polyethylene).

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
