Consistent also with the abovementioned ERC Advisory, a 30-day grace period will be implemented on the payment of the September 2020 bill which fell due during the period of Modified Enhance Community Quarantine (MECQ), from September 8 to 30, 2020. This is applicable only for member-consumer-owners in Bacolod City where the said MECQ was implemented. Any unpaid balance after the lapse of the 30-day grace period shall be paid in three (3) equal monthly installments without incurring interests, penalties and other charges.
MCOs who have the ability to pay are encouraged to settle their bills within the original due date to help manage the cash flow in the energy supply chain and ensure continuous supply of electricity.
Government Offices, Government Agencies, Government Owned and Controlled Corporations, and other Government instrumentalities are not covered by the said ERC advisory.
