EXTENDED PERIOD FOR SEPTEMBER 2020 BILL
CENECO reiterates the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act providing for a thirty-day grace period for electricity bills falling due during the Modified Community Quarantine (MECQ) from September 8 to 30, 2020 in Bacolod City. Payments can still be extended up to three months if said bill remains unpaid.

Payments can still be extended up to three months if said bill remains unpaid.
The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has yet to issue the implementing guidelines pertaining to the abovementioned provision of the Bayanihan 2 Act. Meanwhile, CENECO will continue to issue notice of disconnection and implement its regular schedule of disconnection activities.
Member-consumer-owners are encouraged to pay their bills on time especially those not covered by the grace period. Rest assured that CENECO will consistently abide with the orders or advisories of regulatory agencies such as the Department of Energy, ERC and the National Electrification Administration.
