LIGHTNING HITS 69KV POLE GROUND, CAUSES BROWNOUT

Bad weather caused unscheduled power interruption last night, July 9, as lightning hit 69kV pole ground. The said pole grounding was detached and got deflected to the 69kV line located at Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.

 

CENECO consumers connected to Burgos, Mt. View, Talisay, Lopez, and Panaogao Feeders experienced the unscheduled brownout at 8:35pm. Power was completely restored at 10:42pm.

 

CENECO would like to reiterate that unscheduled power interruptions brought about by bad weather conditions, heavy rains, and other natural occurrences are out of CENECO’s control. These interruptions are unwanted and are never intended by the Electric Cooperative.
