CENECO and DSWD distribute “Pantawid Liwanag 2”

“Handog ng CENECO para sa MCOs”. Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO), in coordination with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), distributed a cash assistance payout program dubbed as “Pantawid Liwanag 2” today, December 10, 2020 at the CENECO Mabini Main Office.

A total of 41 beneficiaries residing in Bago City, Silay City, Talisay City, Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto have gathered this morning to receive a monetary assistance amounting to Three Thousand Pesos (P3,000.00) each. Around 59 beneficiaries are expected to arrive this afternoon to receive their assistance as well.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, “Pantawid Liwanag Program” is launched by DSWD, in coordination with One EC-MCO Movement, Association of Philippine Electric Cooperatives (APEC) and CENECO.
