CENECO Conducts “Pulong-pulong Sa Barangay”

A “Pulong-pulong Sa Barangay” was conducted today in Bago City.
The activity was attended by 140 member-consumer-owners (MCOs) from barangays Mailum, Binubuhan and Ilijan. Also present were Brgy. Captains Hon. Roger Kirk Torres of Mailum, Hon. Remy Jalea of Binubuhan, Hon. Rosenda Talento, of Ilijan, Binubuhan MCO Chair Kgd. Rogelyn Burlade, MCO Sec. Nalyn Cetiza and MCO Federation Rep. Jose Wilson Cabus, and barangay kagawads.
Part of the discussion were Disconnection Policy, Republic Act No. 7832 (Anti-Pilferage Act) and Bantay Kuryente Campaign, and RA No. 11367 (Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act) which were explained by Coop Promotions Section Head Ma. Luisa Parroco. The activity also served as a venue for consumers to clarify billing and power-related concerns.
The “Pulong-pulong Sa Barangay” is one of CENECO’s programs under its continuous Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign.
