CENECO CSR: Electric Fans Donated to Improve Learning Conditions Amid High Heat Index in Negros Occidental

Updated: June 11, 2024

As the heat index remains high in the province, it has affected the quality education being received by students due to suspension of classes in some cities and municipalities because of unbearable classroom conditions.

In this regard, CENECO initiated a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program dubbed as “Electric Fan Para sa Kabataan” to which the Electric Cooperative, through the Board of Directors, donated electric fans to chosen primary and secondary school-beneficiaries within CENECO’s coverage area.

CENECO hopes that, in its own little way, the Coop has somehow contribute to children’s learning.
