CENECO CONDUCTS ENERGIZATION PROGRAM
October 27, 2022 – Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) conducted an energization program at Progreso Village Relocation Site 2, Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.
This program is part of CENECO’s “One-Stop Shop” scheme which includes the conduct of Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES), verification of application requirements, and energization activity that aims to accommodate potential member-consumers who live in far-flung barangays.
The program was attended by more than 500 participants who are all CENECO service connection applicants from the said area.
Through the PMES, CENECO seeks to fully inform consumers about their electric cooperative, including their rights and responsibilities under the Magna Carta for Electricity Consumers, the basics of power outages and residential rates, among other topics.
The event was graced with the presence of Bacolod City Councilor Vladimir Gonzales, Secretary to the Bacolod City Mayor Atty. Karol Joseph Chiu, CENECO Board President Jojit Yap, Bacolod South Director Eugenio Velasco together with AGM Ervin Stan Leo Ticar and UEOMD Manager Engr. Jose M. Taniongon.
The success of this program was made possible through the assistance of Bacolod Housing Authority (BHA) and Brgy. Vista Alegre LGU headed by Brgy. Captain Jose Maria Leandro Norberto De Leon.###
